The Challenge

We Sell Mats is a family-owned North Carolina manufacturer of fitness equipment and foam flooring, selling through its own website and major online marketplaces. As the business grew, its marketing became increasingly complex, with different products, audiences, sales channels, and seasonal priorities competing for attention. The challenge was to bring those pieces together under one strategy—connecting brand, creative, media, content, and eCommerce performance while building a stronger foundation for long-term growth across both D2C and marketplace channels.

What We Did

As We Sell Mats’ agency of record since 2022, Bell & Porter has helped reshape how the company approaches marketing and eCommerce. The relationship begins with annual marketing and product roadmap planning, then extends through media buying, creative production, website optimization, SEO, email, marketplace strategy, and ongoing performance analysis.

Over the course of the partnership, Bell & Porter has redesigned key website experiences, built an extensive library of search-optimized content, developed new product and campaign creative, and established an ongoing photography program that produces fresh lifestyle and product assets throughout the year. Strategy is planned across channels rather than in isolation, allowing product launches, promotions, content, media, and site improvements to support the same business priorities.

In 2026, the partnership expanded further when Bell & Porter assumed responsibility for We Sell Mats’ Amazon marketing and vendor management. The expanded scope brings marketplace advertising, product listings, creative, promotions, and vendor strategy into the same planning process as the D2C business—giving We Sell Mats a more coordinated approach to how its products are positioned, marketed, and sold across its two largest eCommerce channels.
